Meet Kelly

Passion, enthusiasm and dedication are a few key words that describe Kelly. Twenty plus years of experience in wedding and event management; design, coordination and production of special events for all social and corporate clients. Kelly’s background started with Kingsmill Resort & Spa. She has worked with a wide range of both corporate and wedding clients. With incredible clients, Kelly was able to transpose a ballroom into a “Rain Forest”, change the Busch Gardens Fest Haus into a Tribute to America as well as creating events for the LPGA. As well as creating events onsite, she also created incredible events offsite at venues such as: Evelynton Plantation, The Williamsburg Winery and Mariner’s Museum to name a few.

From the bride who wanted her dog to be part of her wedding but was living in Atlanta, we created a custom ice sculpture of her dog with his very own pewter “dog bone” name plate. To a bride who wanted a “Spring” garden in January, we designed the ballroom with gardens, fountains and blooming flowers throughout or the bride who wanted the Barbeque with red and white checked linen ….all of the brides were thrilled with the designs and the onsite coordination that they received from Kelly.

Creating memories for the corporate client, brides and social occasions are what Kelly does best! Listening to their dreams, goals and objectives, working within their budgets and creating the most important day and or event are strengths of Kelly. Organization and attention to details are assets that create the incredible events that Kelly manages.

Kelly has been an ILEA (International Live Events Association) member since 1998. She is very proud to say …that she is the “Founding” president of the Hampton Roads Chapter. She served on the local board for nine years, four years on the International board and then served as the RVP (Regional Vice President) of the Northeast East Chapters for two years. In addition, she has also served on the Salvation Army’s board, assisted with events for the March of Dimes as well as the American Diabetes Association. The event raised monies for the organization and Kelly also won an ILEA Chapter Award for the event.

What makes an Event/Wedding Planner special…passion, dedication, enthusiasm and the ability to create lasting relationships with clients…these are qualities of Kelly Coronel.
